Create Delicious, Healthy Meals with up to 90 percent less fat, using Philips’ New Airfryer XXL

Stamford, CT - March 9, 2018 – Royal Philips today announced their latest product in its portfolio of kitchen appliances – the Philips Airfryer XXL. Using a minimal amount of fat, and twice the size of the previous model, the Airfryer XXL offers us the healthiest way to fry allowing us to create perfectly cooked food with up to 90 percent less fat*.

“At Philips, we want to help people take a more active role in managing their health – whether that means eating healthier foods, getting inspiration for healthier ways to cook, or helping kids learn to love vegetables and fruits. Eating healthy also shouldn’t mean we aren’t able to enjoy the foods that we love, and the AirFryer XXL enables us to create healthy versions of our favorite recipes, without compromising on taste,” said Eline de Graaf, Marketing Director for Philips.

The new Philips Airfryer XXL provides an easy and simple way to reduce the amount of unhealthy fats in our diet – and is large enough to cook meals for the entire family. Double the size of the previous model, the Airfryer XXL has a 3.1-pound capacity container to easily prepare a meal for up to six people. Its extra-large size can hold larger quantities of food, whether that’s a whole chicken, or two full bags of fries.

Its revolutionary Twin TurboStar Technology combined with a 1725W heater generates hot, swirling air throughout the cooking basket. This technology extracts fat from food while cooking which is captured in the bottom of the Airfryer’s QuickClean basket, capturing up to twice as much fat than competition**. Additionally, the Philips TurboStar Airfryer requires no preheating and cooks food up to four times faster than in an oven***.  The result is healthier, perfectly cooked food that’s crispy on the outside tender on the inside.

The Philips Airfryer XXL also offers three accessory bundles, making it even easier to fry, bake, roast and grill with little to no added oil, including a Party Master Kit, a Baking Master Kit and a Grill Master Kit.

The Philips Airfryer mobile app also includes hundreds of recipes and ideas from around the world on how to roast, grill and bake using the Airfryer XXL. The Philips Airfryer XXL Digital launched exclusively in February at William Sonoma starting at $399.95. The Philips Airfryer XXL Analog launches in March at Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, HSN and starting at $349.95.  Accessory kits are also available in March, starting at $59.95. The Philips Airfryer app is available for download for iOS at the Apple App Store.
